Karyne T. Ghantous
Associate Trial Attorney

Karyne Ghantous is a 1994 University of California at Los Angeles graduate and a 1997 graduate of University of California Hastings College of the Law. She is currently a Board Member of the Women’s Section of the Contra Costa County Bar Association and Member of the Alameda County Bar Association.  

Ms. Ghantous specializes in the strategic planning of cases through trial.  She has successfully defended concert promoters, media and billboard advertisers, property management companies, property and building owners, general contractors and subcontractors, interior design firms, garbage and recycling companies, equine trainers, trucking companies, component part manufacturers, coating manufacturers, homeowner associations, cities and supermarkets in a broad range of litigation matters.  She has experience in complex multi-party personal injury, product liability, public entity liability, construction defect, landlord-tenant disputes, environmental and toxic tort litigation, indemnity disputes, defamation claims, and premises liability including habitability and healthy house claims, FHA, FHAA, FEHA, Unruh Act violations, housing discrimination and disability access claims in all aspects of civil/business litigation in State and Federal Court.

Ms. Ghantous joined the firm recently after working for approximately 10 years for two established insurance defense firms in the Oakland area.  A long time resident of Contra Costa County, she enjoys spending time in the East Bay with her husband and two children.
