Mr. Steven Marden is the Sr. Litigation counsel at the De La Housaye & Associates’ Walnut Creek office. An experienced and adept trial attorney, he heads up the construction defect and commercial liability practice at De La Housaye & Associates. A 1978 graduate from McGeorge School of Law, Mr. Marden’s prior work includes product liability and land development cases, as well as, handling complex litigation in the areas of mass tort defense.

Mr. Marden’s list of clients include many large corporations and public utilities such as PG&E; his projects include overseeing the Helms Creek project and the Alpine Meadows avalanche and his focus is on representing contractors and construction entities in construction defect claims. He is a frequent speaker on issues dealing with construction cases and employment liability practice matters. As Sr. Trial counsel, Mr. Marden also assists in case management and strategy.

Mr. Marden comes to De La Housaye & Associates after several years at an Oakland insurance defense firm. He lives in Fremont, California where he enjoys golfing, relaxing and being an avid spectator at his children’s sporting events, if he is not coaching them.
